Please see below project update for the Marblehead Elementary School: 

• Resilient Flooring installation is continuing ancillary offices and spaces on the first floor of Area B & C. 
• The painting contractor is continuing with final paint activities on the second and first levels of Area A/B.
• The millwork contractor is completing the installation of the administration desk, radius millwork panels in the main lobby space and solid surface sills in the stair wells.  This contractor has deliveries tentatively scheduled Tuesday, Thursday and Friday of this week.   
• Final cleaning activities will continue in the second floor classrooms in Area A/B.
• The tiling contractor will complete with the installation of ceramic wall tile in the Main Lobby space this week. 
• The plumbing & electrical contractor shall be continuing and complete the termination and hook-up of kitchen equipment this week.  
• The ceiling contractor shall continue with the installation of the specialty ceilings at the Main Lobby, Vestibule and adjacent corridor in Areas B & C this week.  
• Specialty light fixtures shall continue installation in the corridor on the second level of Area A/B.
• Installation of specialties; toilet accessories and lockers will be completed on both levels this week.   
• Setting of the operable partitions at the Stage area are scheduled to be installed on Thursday & Friday this week.
• The misc metals contractor is scheduled to complete the stainless steel handrail installation at Stair #3 this week. 
• Regrading and forming of sidewalks on the East side (Resident's side) of Baldwin Road shall continue this week; regrading to be completed on Monday and formwork commencing on Wednesday with a concrete placement scheduled for Monday 8/30.    
• Timber guardrail will continue on the South, West and North elevations of the project site this week.
• Construction of the retaining wall along the Dartmouth Road has been completed.  Forming of the sidewalk in this area will occur on Thursday with the concrete placement scheduled for Monday 8/30.
• Installation of plantings will continue on the West and North elevations of the project site.
• Irrigation installation will continue on the East side of the site.  This crew will continue around the perimeter of the building counter-clockwise.  
• Installation of chain link fencing is continuing on the North elevation of the project site.  This work will continue this week followed by ornamental fencing.
• The roofing contractor has a crane scheduled to be onsite Friday 8/27 to remove all the temporary guardrails at the roof perimeters.
• Paving of Baldwin Road and Dartmouth Rd intersection is scheduled for Friday of this week.  There will be No Parking signs posted along the roadway as well as notices to the adjacent residents will be issued on Tuesday 8/24 & Wednesday 8/25 of this week.  This work has been communicated to both the Police and Public Work Departments. 

The project will be working on the site this Saturday 8/21/21.  Activities will consist of the following:

• Ceiling contractor will be installing speciality ceilings at the interior main lobby & corridor spaces.
• Millwork contractor will be prepping the radius millwork details at the Main Lobby and Bridge area.  
• Flooring contractor will be continuing the install of flooring materials in the stage area and miscellanous rooms on the lower level of Area B/C. Installation of floor landings in Stair #3 will continue.  
• Tel-Data contractor will be working on card reader installation in Area C.  
• Painting contractor will be continuing with finish painting activites on the second/first floor corridor of Area A/B.
• Plumbing contractor will continue with final connections and finish in the Kitchen space.  
• Specialities contractor will continue with installation of lockers on the second/first floor spaces.
• Site contractor will be setting curb along Dartmouth Road entrance and sub-grade prep for sidewalk to be ready for next week’s paving activity on Dartmouth Road.  (Work to commence after 8am)

This weekend work schedule has been communicated and coordinated with both the Marblehead Building Department & Police Department.

• The millwork contractor is completing the installation of vision panels, display cases and ship lap in the Main Lobby spaces.  This contractor has deliveries tentatively scheduled Tuesday, Thursday and Friday of this week. 
• The metal panel contractor will continue with the installation of the remaining metal panels at the Main Entrance of the building.   
• Final cleaning activities will continue in the second floor classrooms in Area A/B.
• The tiling contractor will continue with the installation of ceramic wall tile in the Main Lobby space this week and applying the substrate materials on the mural areas; both interior and exterior this week.
• The plumbing & electrical contractor shall be continuing with the termination and hook-up of kitchen equipment.  
• The ceiling contractor shall continue with the installation of the specialty ceilings at the Main Lobby, Vestibule and adjacent corridor in Areas B & C this week.  
• Specialty light fixtures shall continue installation in the corridor on the second level of Area A/B.
• Installation of specialities; fire extinguisher cabinets, toilet accessories and lockers will continue on both levels this week.   
• Installation of curb, regrading and forming of sidewalks on the East side (Resident's side) of Baldwin Road shall continue this week; curb to set on Wednesday, regrading Thursday and formwork on Friday.  The concrete placement of these areas is tentatively scheduled for the week of 8/23/21 weather dependent.   
• Timber guardrail will continue on the South, West and North elevations of the project site this week.
• Construction of the retaining wall along the Dartmouth Road has been completed.  Forming of the sidwalk in this area will occur on Friday with the concrete placement tentatively scheduled the week fo 8/23/21.
• The poured in place rubber surfacing will continue and complete installation this week on Wednesday 8/18.  
• Installation of plantings has commenced on the South-East side of the project site and will continue around the perimeter of the building and project site.
• Sub-grade prep for the atheltic field space is on-going and spreading of top soil will commence on Thursday  8/19.
• Irrigiation installation has commenced onsite on the South side of the site.  This crew will continue around the perimieter of the building counter-clockwise.  
• Installation of chain link fencing has commenced on the North elevation of the project site.  This work will continue this week followed by ornamental fencing.
• The roofing contractor shall continue and complete all remaining roof edge metal at the canopy roof and other misc areas.

The project will be working on the site this Saturday 8/14/21.  Activities will consist of the following:

• General trades contractor will working on misc drywall clean-up and column enclosure install on the interior of the building.  
• Ceiling contractor will be installing speciality ceiling at the exterior canopy ceiling after 8AM and interior within the main lobby spaces.
• Taping contractor will be completing misc finish and sanding activities on the first level.
• Millwork contractor will be continuing the install millwork ship lap at Stair #2 and Main Lobby areas, millwork items at the ELS spaces on the second level and display case installation in the Main Lobby space.
• Flooring contractor will be continuing the install of flooring materials in the Adminstration space on the first level of Area A/B.  Installation of floor tread material will continue in Stair #3 in Area C.
• Electrical contractor will be installing light fixtures in the second level corridor of Area A/B and at the exterior canopy ceiling after 8AM.  
• Painting contractor will be continuing with painting railings on the second floor corridor of Area A/B and stairwells.
• Plumbing contractor will continue with final connections and finish in the Kitchen space.  
• Wood Flooring contractor will be sanding and sealing the stage wood floor area.
• Landscaping contractor will be completing the top coat of asphalt at the basketball and tetherball courts on the North elevation of the project site.  This work to commence after 8AM.

• The millwork contractor is completing the installation of millwork trim and acoustical panels in the gymnasium.  Millwork ship-lap at the procensium openings on each side of the Stage shall be completed this week.  Installation of vision panels, display cases and ship lap in the Main Lobby spaces.  This contractor has deliveries tentatively scheduled Tuesday, Thursday and Friday of this week. 
• The metal panel contractor will continue with the installation of their finish panel materials in the gymnasium spaces this week.
• Final cleaning activities will continue in the second floor classrooms in Area A/B.
• The tiling contractor will continue with the installation of ceramic wall tile in the Main Lobby space this week.
• The plumbing contractor shall be continuing with the termination and hook-up of kitchen equipment.  
• The ceiling contractor shall continue with the installation of the specialty ceilings at the exterior canopy, cafeteria and corridors in A/B this week.  
• Specialty light fixtures shall continue installation in the cafeteria space, corridors and main lobby of Area A/B.
• The second kitchen equipment delivery is scheduled for Tuesday 8/10.  The equipment shall be set followed by the electrical and plumbing connections. 
• Removal and hauling of excess materials will be completed on Tuesday this week from the North Elevation of the project site.
• Sidewalk forming and reinforcing along Baldwin Road adjacent to the project site shall commence on Tuesday with a concrete placement scheduled for Wednesday 8/11.  This new sidewalk will then be opened for use to the public allowing the new curb and sidewalk work on the East side (Resident's side) of Baldwin Road to commence.  The work along the East side of Baldwin Road shall commence week of 8/16.   
• Timber guardrail will continue on the South, West and North elevations of the project site this week.
• Construction of the retaining wall along the Dartmouth Road exit shall be completed this week.
• Site traffic and directional signage is scheduled to be installed on Tuesday 8/10.
• The landscape contractor will continue playground equipment installation on the north elevation of the project site. 
• Sub-grade prep for plantings have commenced and will continue around the perimeter of the building and project site.
• Sub-grade prep for the atheltic field space shall commence on Wednesday 8/11.
• The roofing contractor shall continue and complete all remaining roof edge metal at the canopy roof and other misc areas.
