Please see below project update for the Marblehead Elementary School: 

• The metal panel contractor will continue with installation of the standing seam panel assembly on the West, South & East elevations of the building.
• The metal window contractor will continue with the installation of the translucent wall panel system on the South & East elevations of Area C.      
• Painting activities will continue on the second level of Areas A & B.
• Installation of ceiling grid shall continue on the second level of Areas A & B.
• Installation of MEP related equipment and devices in the ceiling grid shall continue in the Classroom spaces on the second level of Areas A & B.
• Production sheet rocking activities will continue on the first level of Areas A & B.
• Prime painting activities shall continue on the first level on Areas A & B.
• Installation of ceiling grid shall continue on the first level on Areas A & B.
• The overhead hoods located in the Kitchen space are scheduled to be delivered and commence installation on Wednesday 4/21.
• The elevator contractor is scheduled to mobilize and commence installation of the elevator system on Tuesday 4/20.  
• Rough-in of electrical shall continue in the Cafeteria on the first level of Area C.
• In-wall inspections are scheduled for Tuesday in the Cafeteria & Gym areas which will allow sheetrocking activities to commence in this space.
• Sheetrocking activities in the Cafeteria & Gym areas will commence on the first level of Area C.
• Piping rough-in and connections to the equipment located in the Mechanical Room will continue this week.
• Installation of remaining light pole bases along the South elevation of the parking lot will continue this week.  Grading and drainage stone along this same elevation will follow the installation of the light pole bases.
• Backfill and subgrade prep around the perimeter of the building will continue along the West elevation of the building and continue on the South & East elevations.
• Site clean-up and grading activities will commence on the North elevation of the building.  The temporary heater set-up located along this elevation is scheduled to be disconnected and removed on Thursday 4/22.
• The project is scheduled to receive delivery of the metal panel enclosures located on the Roof Level this week.      

The project will be working on the site this Saturday 4/17/21.  Activities will consist of the following:

• Metal Window contractor will be working on installing skylight clips on the interior of the second floor of the building.  The work crew will be utilizing power tools and scissor lifts at times through out the day to support the work activities.
• Electrical contractor will be working on rough-in activities through-out the interior of the building.

This Saturday work schedule has been communicated and coordinated with both the Marblehead Building Department & Police Department.

• The site contractor shall continue the construction of the retaining walls at the Dartmouth Rd entrance/exit.
• Installation of light pole bases along the West elevation roadway will commence this week.  
• The mechanical contractor is tentatively scheduled to have a crane onsite this week to pick and set the remaining roof-top units on the roof level of Area A.  The crane will be set-up along the West elevation of the building.     

The project will be working on the site this Saturday 4/10/21.  Activities will consist of the following:

• General Trades contractor will be working on sheetrocking activites on the first floor of the building.  The work crew will be utilizing power tools and scissor lifts at times through out the day to support the work activities.
• Taping contractor will be working on taping and finishing activities on the first floor of the building. 
• The painting contractor will be performing exterior painting activities on the South & East elevations of the Cafeteria/Gymnasium wing of the building.  

This Saturday work schedule has been communicated and coordinated with both the Marblehead Building Department & Police Department.

• Sheet rocking the top of wall activities will continue and production sheet rocking activities will continue on the first level of Areas A & B.
• In-wall inspections are scheduled for this week in the Kitchen area which will allow sheetrocking activities to commence in this space.
• Rough-in of electrical, fire protection & plumbing shall continue in the Cafeteria on the first level of Area C.
• Light gauge metal framing activities in the Cafeteria will continue on the first level of Area C.
• The gym equipment contractor is scheduled to mobilize, receive delivery of the overhead equipment and commence installation on Monday 4/5. 
• Piping rough-in and connections to the equipment located in the Mechanical Room will continue this week.
• The site contractor has remobilized for the season this week.  The first area of focus will be constructing the retaining walls at the Dartmouth Rd entrance/exit and remaining underground utility work around the emergency generator pad location.
• The site contractor is scheduled to receive a delivery of pre-cast light pole bases this week.
