The project will be working on the site this Saturday 5/29/21.  Activities will consist of the following:

• Electrical contractor will be terminating light fixtures and rough-in work on first level of Area A/B in the building.
• General trades contractor will be working on sheetrocking activities in Area C of the building.
• Taping contractor will be working on taping and finishing sheetrocking activities on the second level of Area A/B and first floor of Area C on the interior of the building.
• Landscaping contractor will continue with tree installation along the West elevation of the project site.  This work will not commence until 8AM.

This Saturday work schedule has been communicated and coordinated with both the Marblehead Building Department & Police Department.

Please see below project update for the Marblehead Elementary School: 

• The metal panel contractor will complete the installation of the standing seam panel assembly on the South elevation of the building.
• The metal panel contractor to continue the installation of the equipment screen panels located on the roof level this week.
• The metal window contractor will continue with the installation of the translucent skylight system on the roof level of Area A & B.  Additionally this contractor will complete the sunshades installation on the building.  
• The metal window contractor is receiving the remaining storefront entry systems on Wednesday 5/26 and will commence installation on the North elevation.
• Resilient Flooring installation is continuing in the classrooms on the second level of Areas A & B.
• The project is scheduling the final above ceiling inspection and sign off with the Town inspectors for the second level of Area A & B the week of 6/1/21. This will support the installation of ceiling tiles the same week.
• The millwork contractor commenced receiving materials this morning and will commence installation on second level of Area A & B.  
• The painting contractor is scheduled to prep and paint the roof/ceiling deck in the Main Lobby atrium this week.
• The elevator contractor is continuing with installation of the elevator system in Area B.  
• The tiling contractor has commenced and will continue with the installation of ceramic floor and wall tile in the single & group bathrooms on the first level of Areas A & B.
• The plumbing contractor shall continue with the installation and hook-up of the plumbing fixtures in the single bathrooms on the first level of Areas A & B.
• The general trades contractor will commence sheetrocking activities in Stair #1 and Stair #3 spaces this week. 
• Production sheetrocking & taping activities in the Cafeteria & Gym areas will continue on the first level of Area C.
• Backfill, utilities and subgrade prep around the perimeter of the building will continue along the East & South elevations of the building.  
• Site clean-up and grading activities will continue on the North elevation of the building.  Note this activity may require the use of a hammer drill at irregular intervals to break-up potential spots of ledge that need to be taken down to support this work activity.
• The site contractor is scheduling trucking to remove excess materials offsite this week.  Potentially 3-6 trucks will be running continuously through out the work day supporting this activity.
• The concrete flatwork contractor is continuing with sidewalk forming and reinforcing.  A concrete placement is scheduled for Wednesday 5/26 along the South and East elevations of the building.
• The landscape contractor has mobilized to the project site.   They will working on the North elevation with site and sub-grade prep along the East elevation and basketball court area.
• The landscape contractor has a tree and plant delivery scheduled for Thursday 5/27.  Installation shall commence along the West elevation and new parking lot area.

• The flooring contractor will be installing flooring materials on the second floor of Area A/B in the building.
• The sprinkler contractor will be terminating sprinkler lines and heads below the skylight system in Area A/B of the building.

• Prime painting activities shall continue on the first level on Areas A & B.
• Installation of ceiling grid shall continue on the first level on Areas A & B.
• Installation of lights and other MEP devices located in the grid will continue on the first level of Areas A & B.
• The tiling contractor has commenced and will continue with the installation of ceramic floor and wall tile in the single bathrooms on the first level of Areas A & B.
• The plumbing contractor has commenced with the installation and hook-up of the plumbing fixtures in the single bathrooms on the first level of Areas A & B.
• The general trades contractor will commence sheetrocking activities in Stair #1 and Kitchen spaces this week. drywall
• Production sheetrocking & taping activities in the Cafeteria & Gym areas will continue on the first level of Area C.
• Backfill and subgrade prep around the perimeter of the building will continue along the East elevation of the building.  Granite curb installation along this elevation and the bus loop is scheduled to be installed this week. 
• Site clean-up and grading activities will continue on the North elevation of the building.  Note this activity may require the use of a hammer drill at irregular intervals to break-up potential  spots of ledge that need to be taken down to support this work activity.

• Taping contractor will be working on taping and finishing sheetrocking activities on the first floor of Area C on the interior of the building.
• The ceiling contractor will be working on installing ceiling grid on the first floor of Area A/B of the building.
